Welcome to Office Hours with the College Success Professor.

I’m Phenix. I know what it takes students to be successful in college. I also know that Getting in College is Great, and graduating is hard but worth it.

Over the years, I have met a lot of young adults in college who are pursuing their dreams and goals. However, the young woman who I am talking to in this interview is one of the most impressive young people I have met in quite some time. Since meeting her this past summer I have used her as an example and an inspiration. I will let her talk about all that she has done and accomplished, some of her current projects and her advice for finding your purpose as a young person. So without any further adieu, allow me to introduce Ms. Zaniya Lewis a senior political science major who attends George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Zaniya has some important information and resources for students who are currently in college or are applying to college. Zaniya’s organization is called the YES SHE CAN CAMPAIGN. Listen to her story and how she wound up on the cover of Seventeen magazine while still in high school. Her story is inspiring and will make us all want to do more. So check out the recording.
